Upcycling

 

Recently I realised a lot of what we do is recycling. To begin with, when the kids were small, it was for lack of finances but now it’s often due to the durability of older objects. The beauty of old wood and just because it’s fun to update a much loved or still useful object.

My old sewing box, sanded, painted. The legs shorted. Hinges added to the lid, which was broken, but now fixed.

The large handle that went over the box, was cut up to make a handle for the ends.

Old step stool.

Useful old stool, looking a bit worn out.
Sanded, painted, new cap ends and new wooden steps
